Managing Your Own House

A man walked up to a farmer's house and knocked on the door. When a woman opened the door, the man asked, "Do you like fooling around?" 

Not amused, she slammed the door on his face. The next day, the man comes again and knocks, and when she answered, asks her again if she liked fooling around. The woman yelled for him to go away. Later, she told her husband of the incident. Her husband says he would stay home the following day, just in case the man came again.

Sure enough, the next day the same man returned. The husband hid with his gun while his wife answered the door. When she was asked again if she liked to fool around, she, emboldened by the fact that her husband was nearby, decided to say "Why, yes, I do!" 

The man replied,"Fantastic! Would you mind very much doing so with your husband so that he stops coming by to try to do the same with my wife?"


Moral of the Story: Don't shoot the messenger, he may be bringing important news.
